Teamleader acquired by Visma, one of Europe's leading providers of business-critical software

Visma has acquired Teamleader, a leading international SaaS scale-up offering work management software for small and medium enterprises from investors Fortino Capital, Keen Venture Partners and PMV. Teamleader is active in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain and Italy. By joining the Visma family, Teamleader will benefit from Visma’s international network and expertise to accelerate its growth ambitions.

Teamleader was founded in July of 2012 to help entrepreneurs with their business. After years of developing custom software, it was clear to founder Jeroen De Wit that there is a demand for one user-friendly tool that can handle CRM, quotations, invoicing and project management.

Teamleader has since expanded into France, Spain, Italy and Germany, in addition to Belgium and the Netherlands. Ten years after the founding, more than 15,000 organisations work with Teamleader and over 10 billion Euros worth of invoices flow through Teamleader’s systems.

To meet the increased demand for software, to innovate faster and to accelerate its growth ambitions, Teamleader has joined Visma.

Teamleader’s journey was supported by several VC investors. Fortino Capital was the first investor to lead the first investment round in 2014. In 2018, both Keen Venture Partners and PMV came in to further support Teamleader’s growth.
