Hugh joined Fortino Capital’s Amsterdam VC team in May 2025 as an Investment Manager after completing his MBA at IESE in Barcelona. Prior to Fortino, Hugh spent four years at Osage Venture Partners in Philadelphia before moving to their portfolio company MarginEdge, a restaurant software scale-up, as their Payments Product Lead.
With a deep appreciation for founder challenges and an operator’s mindset, Hugh brings a combination of strategy and hands-on experience to his work with entrepreneurs.
When Hugh is not VCing, he enjoys any sport that involves a racquet, and as an avid pianist, he is always looking for fellow musicians to jam out with.
